Asking for Advice on a Decision

Informal Letter • Intermediate

You have to make an important decision and you want some advice from a friend. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter, explain the situation and the options you have, and ask for their opinion and advice.

Instructions:
  • You should spend about 20 minutes on Task 1 and 40 minutes on Task 2.
  • Write at least 150 words for Task 1 and at least 250 words for Task 2.
  • Organise and present your ideas clearly, and use appropriate examples to support your arguments.
