Asking for a Letter of Recommendation

You are applying for a scholarship and need a letter of recommendation from a former professor. Write a letter to the professor. In your letter, remind them who you are, explain what you are applying for, and politely ask if they would be willing to write a recommendation for you.

Instructions:
  • You should spend about 20 minutes on Task 1 and 40 minutes on Task 2.
  • Write at least 150 words for Task 1 and at least 250 words for Task 2.
  • Organise and present your ideas clearly, and use appropriate examples to support your arguments.
